I can never get enough of this place. I come at least once a week (try to come after 9 tho). Ambience A+. Dessert A+. Food A+. Service A+. And price after 9pm is A+. Love love love

We had a reservation and the table was ready on time. The food was fresh and delicious. The herbal pork soup was super tasty. They even give you the raw meat and herbs to add to the broth yourself, so you don't need to rely on a lucky scoop to get you the meat. The dessert bar had so much variety of jellies and popping boba and fruit, and the soft serve that comes with the check is top-tier. Service was great! They were very thoughtful and responsive. They mix the dipping sauce for you tableside and there's also a sauce bar if you want something special. I could tell they were working very hard to give us a good impression of the restaurant. The decor is beautiful and it feels very shiny and new inside. The platters that the vegetables come in can be a bit extra, but they can still hold a good volume of food. They even have little ceramic collars that go around the hotpot so you don't get burned if you bump the pot! We paid about $75 per person and I was VERY full. I really like this place!

I've been here twice and the food is just incredible. I got the combo set with premier cru beef thick cut, veggie basket, and noodles. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth goodness!! I like the sauce they make for you, but they have a sauce bar if you want to make your own. They also have some assorted snacks, jellies, and fruits that you can help yourself to as well. Each meal comes with a free soft serve vanilla ice cream at the end. I love the attention to detail, fast service, and overall classy ambience of the place! Extra bonus points because the restrooms had mouthwash, floss, and pads!!

Went for LINNER at around 3pm on a Wednesday. Their happy hour meal sets were all at least 20-30% off and was a GREAT value for the 1 plate of meat and 1 plate of variety of veggies, shrimp paste (absolutely delicious and I don't even normally eat shrimp, spam, mushrooms, tofu, quail eggs etc) sauce bar included, unlimited rice or handmade noodles. At first glance we thought we were going to need an extra plate of meat for sure, but we were really full after finishing everything in our meal set. And then they brought us their tiny soft serve ice creams cones...... IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!! Service was extremely attentive and friendly but not overdone. Restaurant looked very nice and clean, has a great atmosphere for anything casual to formal celebrations. The spicy soup base I ordered I asked for extra spicy and it actually did have spice come through which was a very nice surprise for me! I will say I wouldn't come here outside of happy hour because everything is SUPER overpriced and at the end of the day, hotpot is hotpot... it doesnt need to be that expensive. The hapy hour meal sets give the perfect portion at not just reasonable but dare I say affordable price for such a great meal experience!

Chinese hot pot isn't that difficult to find. The Dolar Shop, however, is in a league of their own. This is hands down the classiest hot pot restaurant I've ever been to. It's beautifully decorated and well maintained. The server was very helpful with our party of six. He made sure we understood how to order our broth, meats, and veggies from the table iPad. Also gave us a quick rundown on using the burners. The Dolar Shop staff will gladly mix a fresh dipping sauce table-side. However, there is also a 'condiment' bar with offerings to mix on your own.

Food was very good. I had some friends from China come with me to translate what I was eating and how to dine there. The staff was very helpful but it was much better with some insider friend help. The place was packed but we got in pretty quickly as walk-ins during Friday lunch. The establishment is very nice especially upstairs. It was pricey, but we got the good stuff (even I could tell that!). It's definitely an experience, but not one I would attempt without someone who really knows hot pot style.

Joined the waitlist while walking over and only had to wait about 10 minutes without having a reservation. We noticed larger parties get seated first, as they have more tables for large parties than tables for 2. We sat upstairs (it's two floors) at the main level. Our table was by the windows which was nice to see the bustling street below. Overall vibe of the restaurant is definitely upscale. We've done a lot of hot pot spots, and this is definitely the most fancy! Though you don't have to dress fancy. Good sauce bar, and they had an ice jelly bar as well which I hadn't seen before. An abundance of fresh fruit and peanuts available on the sauce bar as well. The meal itself was really good. Spendy compared to other hot pots, but it fit the upscale vibe. Good amount of options for proteins, we went with the mixed plate or two kinds of beef and lamb. The broths were both excellent, the mix of creamy pork and spicy was a hit. They cannot mix the broth combos, you have to pick from one of the two selected options. Found that kind of odd, but no worries. I wish they had a mushroom platter or veggie platter, they had two platters that contained a lot of stuff we didn't want, so we ended up ordering small plates of multiple veggies and mushrooms. They only had one noodle option, which was surprising as all other hot pots we've been to have at least 3. Overall, good experience, good food. Would come back!

Parking at the braven and is validated for 6 hours. This place is an upscale personal hot pot restaurant with great service and ambiance. Food quality was very high, although expensive. There is a sauce and dessert bar as well. Overall, would recommend as a flavorful destination for a special occasion! They prefer cash or debit card (otherwise credit card is 3% fee)

We love Ming!!! Such a nice and awesome server, he made the experience super memorable and we appreciated his hospitality! This place was decorated very well. I loved the ambiance and all the food was great. I got the half and half, creamy broth and the spicy one. The sauce the server makes is very tasty and I liked that they also had a sauce bar for you to make your own. The ice jelly bar was also really refreshing to have afterwards.
